"Clarion Sea"

This (mostly) down-looking view of a colorful tropical coral reef was the design for a glass tile mosaic for a large private pool. The perspective tilts up to create a horizontal view of the reef along the pool’s curved sides.

Jim Hellemn has made a career out of inventing ways to capture the spectacular colors and details of coral reefs. His images have appeared in National Geographic magazine, the American Museum of Natural History and are featured in several large-scale public attractions.
